Kevin Riley
Captain · 60 · The reason we're all here
Forty-eight years after middle school, still the one who organizes the trip.
October 10, 2026 · Orlando → Clearwater
Kevin Riley and friends are turning sixty and riding 120 miles across Florida to raise money for Westridge Middle School, where it all started.
Why six guys with sore knees are pedaling 120 miles across Florida.
Forty-eight years ago, six kids met in the halls of Westridge Middle School. They played together, raced together, and got into the kind of trouble you only get into at twelve.
Now they're sixty. The trouble is mostly behind them. The bikes are still with them.
On October 10, 2026, Kevin Riley, Eddie Burgos, and four of their oldest friends are riding from Z.L. Riley Park in Orlando to Crabby's Beachside Pavilion in Clearwater. 120 miles, one peninsula, ocean to gulf. Every dollar raised goes to Westridge, for the kids who are starting where they started.
Z.L. Riley Park is named after Kevin's grandfather. The ride begins where his family's name is on the gates and ends at the Gulf, generations of Rileys connecting Orlando to Clearwater on a Saturday in October.
